Been on holiday for a week but popped out at the weekend with the Porksters on a run to Tulley's Farm for breakfast. One of our number lives near there and knows all the roads, so it was a great route, if a little trafficky.
When I moved Barry off the drive this morning, he did sound a little throatier than I remembered and when I met up with the others, they suggested the exhaust was blowing. When I last looked, the exhaust did look very rusty, so I'm not surprised and I quite fancy replacing the whole system but that will cost over £2k, so I probably shouldn't. I'm booked in to a local exhaust specialist who can probably repair any small hole for not much.
Oh yeah, and my son's Mustang? Lasted a week - he didn't like it, just too big and understeered (on a RWD car?). So he did a 13 hour round trip to swap it for....another C63 AMG, a coupe this time, in white with beautiful red interior. The first C63 he had was always the only car he regretted selling so maybe he'll keep this a little longer? But I'm not holding out hope...
